Michigan Historical Museum "Plowshares into Swords" Civil War Sesquicentennial Exhibit Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

As we kick off the Michigan Civil War Sesquicentennial next week, I am so very blessed to have the opportunity to speak at the ribbon-cutting for the new exhibit at the Michigan Historical Museum in Lansing on Tuesday, April 12th. I encourage everyone to visit this important new exhibit and all of the exciting living history events at the Opening Ceremony on Saturday, April 16th. Below is the information:

Join us Tuesday, April 12th at 12:30 p.m. on the 150th anniversary of the Confederate firing on Fort Sumter as the Michigan Historical Museum in Lansing opens its new special exhibit "Plowshares Into Swords" with guest speaker Kristina Austin Scarcelli, descendant of a Michigan Civil War soldier. This special exhibit is in recognition of the sesquicentennial of the American Civil War.
